When you get caught with a silks purse in Tempe, it could get you arrested

Tempe police say a woman who was caught with $2,500 in a silken purse could get herself arrested for trespassing.

Police say on Wednesday, the 34-year-old woman was arrested after she walked into the shop to buy flowers for a customer.

She said she had to buy a flower in her purse, and she tried to get away, but she was detained by police.

Police said they found the silken-draped purse in the shop’s parking lot.

It’s not clear what was inside.

Police say the purse was confiscated after a man was pulled over for a broken tail light.
