Glendale flower shops are required to have a license from the local state or territory government, but the city’s licensing department doesn’t always have a way to verify it.
The city has a website for the licence renewal process, but it can be a challenge to find it.
If you don’t know the state’s or territory’s stamping codes, you can find them on the Australian Taxation Office website, or by looking for the letter “TA”.
There’s a “TA” in the state or territories stamping code, and in Queensland, the state government is required to stamp a letter on the back of every stamp.
But it’s not clear whether Queensland has a stamping system that works across state lines.
“We’re working with our partners in Queensland to see if we can work with them to get a stamp,” Ms Martin said.
She said it was an option she was considering, but she wasn’t sure if it would be practical to apply for a license on her own.
For now, Ms Martin will simply check the stamping office’s website to see what’s in store for the next few months.
“You can get your stamp for free by filling in a form and paying a small fee,” she said.
“I’m going to be looking at all the options to make sure that I’m getting a stamp that will work.”
